One-on-One Writing Support 

I work with people of all ages (okay, mostly 12-95) who don't necessarily think of themselves as writers. The middle- and high school students don't even know they have stories that need to be told. They haven't realized their voice is story, and they're unsure of their voice. I love working with them as much as those looking back on their long lives and realizing they need to record those experiences. I don't think writing should be a solitary act. We need a writing partner the way we need a walking partner. I love being that partner. 

Facilitation 

Not content to do my own writing and help others with their projects, I facilitate literary events such as Ballard Writers Collective and It's About Time Writers' Readings (in partnership with Seattle Public Library).  I also do freelance technical work, provide communication services to non-profits and businesses. I see my role as connecting the community, through writing, and connecting writers.
